Alexandra Gertner LLC

Hi!! I am Alexandra Gertner, a junior at Colorado State University studying Hospitality Management with a minor in business. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease when I was 15 years old and that’s when my love for cooking and nutrition began. I started researching dishes to make that would not contain gluten at all but contained all the nutrients my body needed to survive. The goal was to enjoy every meal I had and show people you can have a healthy lifestyle, eat incredible dishes and get all the nutrients your body needs. About a year ago I created a cooking page on Instagram called gerts_kitchen geared towards college students. My page contains healthy and easy meals to keep us college students on track while dealing with our every day lives! Whether your vegetarian, gluten-free, or just trying to stay on track, there is meals for everyone to enjoy.

Quick and Delicious Breakfast

Saute 1 cup of spinach in a pan on medium. I like scrambled eggs mixed in with my spinach but feel free to eat your eggs how you like it! After spinach is cooked add in egg mixture and cook accordingly. In another pan cook turkey bacon to your liking! Toast break, add cream cheese and avocado on top, garnish with dill. You have yourself a well balanced meal.

What You’ll Need

  • Turkey bacon
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup spinach
  • ½ avocado
  • 2 Pieces gluten-free toast
  • Cream cheese
  • 1 tsp dill.
